Superb poster by Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010), painter born in Liège to Dutch parents, founding member of the COBRA group, with Constant, Karel Appel, Dotremont, Joseph Noiret and Asger Jorn, reproducing the Yellow Nu from 1982.
This poster has often been shown on television and reproduced in books.
A summer poster of a female nude on the beach with a bird. Great Master of color, in the wake of Gauguin and Matisse, Guillaume Corneille devoted a significant part of his creation to posters, and after having marked post-war abstraction, launched into a free and jovial figuration coordinated with the Pop-Art movement.
